Set of two rods.

Fatigue is the major cause of connecting rod failure. Carrillo Rods utilize proprietary steel and are manufactured and forged to their own custom specifications. After experimenting with virtually every other reasonable material, they have found this chromium / nickel / vanadium / molybdenum FORGED alloy to be the best product to meet their stringent requirements for strength and durability

Carrillo H-Beam Chrome Moly Steel Rods are designed with the serious racer in mind. Each rod is balance and shot peened to achieve the ultimate in strength and fatigue properties s to endure the most challenging conditions during high-performance competition.

Rods feature dual wrist pin oiling ports, the correct tapers to work with stock pistons and are legal for use in MotoAmerica

Rod sets use the stock 2A0008370B (Blue), 2A0008370G (Yellow), or 2A0008370V (Green) plain bearings, which are sold separately. Rods must be plastigauged to crankshaft to select correct bearings. Carrillo provides a spec card specfic to each rod set to aid in measurements.
