<p">The Continental IMU (gyroscope) fitted in the 660 is very sensitive to vibration, and can trigger an alarm when ridden hard, especially on track. This is typically seen as a dashboard alert that says “Alarm Service ATC disabled” with an associated fault code of "P1911 sensor box failure”. Other than vibration, the error can be triggered by striking a curb, or the use of a custom exhaust with unequal length headers or improperly sized crossover. <p">When this error occurs, the bike electronic aids (APRC system) goes into “safe mode” and limits performance. Only key-off/key-on can reset the alarm and restore bike correct working status; not an ideal solution under racing circumstances.

This IMU dampening system has been developed by Gabro Racing to prevent this potential event killing issue. This mount assembly has proven to greatly reduce (if not eliminate) fault occurrence.

*Please note: The Tuono 660 does not come stock with a gyro, so base model (aka non-factory) Tuono 660 owners will have to have already installed the 2S001821 Gyro kit in order to use this mount.

**Please also note, the studs that secure the IMU are made of plastic. These studs will break if you try to tighten them more than finger tight. Run the nuts down to finger tight and then cinch them *BARELY* with a screwdriver. Again the studs are made from plastic and will snap if you merely insult them. If you're worried about the nuts backing off, put a dab of RTV silicone on the threads. (Blue/Red loctite will not work here, as it dissolves plastic).
