Final
Result: 2nd Place HW Twins Expert
Jon Francis aboard the AF1 Racing 2004 Aprilia RSVR

finished out the CMRA racing season in
2nd place. Jon was leading the final lap
of the final race, which would have won
the season, however a nasty high-side on
the final lap red flagged the race and
put Jon back to 2nd place for the
season.
In
2005, AF1 Racing sponsored the CMRA
Heavyweight Twins Expert Class, and the
Formula 5 Endurance. Payout of $3000
for the season.

Our Previous Reports
In 2004 we built and tuned a championship
winning Aprilia RS250. We also
tuned the Superstock A, B, and C class
champion aboard a Yamaha R6. Many of
the top level Suzuki riders are also AF1
Racing tuned bikes.
We built the CMRA championship winning
LW Super-mini Aprilia RS50 motor for
rider Laura Black. Tom Thompson, also
with our motors, finished 4th overall in
the same class. No motor failures all
year with these two bikes.
We built the TMGP winning endurance
racing motor for Team Lemmings. They
finished first overall in the 50cc
Supersport class and won the
championship. No motor failures all
year.
We assembled and did bike preparation
for Aaron Grigsby's 2001/2002 Aprilia
RSV1000 Mille. He placed second overall
in the Southwest Thunder class of the
AMSA racing series in the Southwest.
Aaron also placed 5th overall in the 750
Suzuki Class aboard his Aprilia Mille.
This was Aaron's first year of
racing.....congratulations to him.
