R&G Second Skin stone chip protection film is a non-yellowing (UV Stable)*, ultra-tough, easy-to-apply**, polyurethane protective film. Designed to protect your road or track motorcycle from stone chips, road salt, tar, abrasions, fairing stress fractures and bodywork/fuel tank scratches from general use. The unique properties of our protection film enable it to disperse the impact energy of gravel and small stones, bouncing them off and leaving your bodywork untouched beneath.

R&G Second Skin film is extremely conformable around even the tight radii and compound curves of modern motorcycles. "Standard kits" include the pre-cut film to protect the tip of the front mudguard, front fork shields, nose cone, leading edges of the fairings and tail unit

*AF1 Notes: We view R&G's claim that these guards are "UV stable" and will not yellow over time with great skepticism. In our 20+ years we have never encountered a clear guard or film that does not yellow, at least slightly, over time.

**Though R&G generously includes an application kit and instructions with this kit, be solemnly forewarned. Decal and paint film protection application is extremely challenging. Installation by a local decal or vinyl wrapping shop is strongly recommended. R&G does not have a provision for ordering individual pieces of this kit. If you crinkle, kink, tear or mis-apply a piece of this kit (most kits have at least 25 individual pieces), you have to buy a whole second kit.
