Machined from billet, the Brembo RCS CORSA CORTA RR (RCS CC RR) has been modified to make it lighter. The hard oxidized finish, in titanium grey, ensures outstanding wear resistance and extremely low friction between moving parts. It comes in a darker color than the previous version, precisely because of the type of treatment, making it even more similar to the versions used in Moto2 and Moto3.

The new Brembo RCS CORSA CORTA RR continues in the tradition the RCS (Ratio Click System) system introduced 15 years ago on the Brembo 19RCS radial master cylinder, in addition to the recent Corsa Corta innovation of “bite point” adjustment that allows the rider to use a selector located on the top of the master cylinder to select normal, sport or racing, to achieve the perfect riding feeling to their preference.

The "bite-point" selector operates a cam mechanism to let the user choose between three different responsiveness settings.

In the Normal setting, indicated on the master cylinder with the letter N, the bite point starts more gradually, making it suitable for city riding or braking in poor grip conditions.
In the Sport setting, indicated on the master cylinder with the letter S, the beginning of the bite point is shorter than in the N setting. This setting produces a more dynamic response suitable for sportier riding.
Lastly, in the Race setting, indicated on the master cylinder with the letter R, the position of the cam mechanism shortens the initial stage of the bite point even further to produce the same immediate response of the master cylinders used in MotoGP, letting the rider reach the bite point of the brakes instantaneously. This setting is ideal for use on the race track, where every hundredth of a second shaved off a lap time counts.

By simply changing from one setting to another, the rider can configure the braking response and feel of the bike immediately and predictably.

In addition to the "bite-point" adjustment the Corsa Corta RR 19 RCS still retains the Ratio Click System from the earlier RCS-19. This feature lets the rider select a fulcrum-to-piston distance 18 or 20mm by simply turning the adjuster screw on the front face of the lever.

This system uses a cam that shows red when in the 18mm position and black when in the 20mm position to allow you to tailor the distribution of the braking force without altering the performance of the system in terms of absolute power.

The RCS Corsa Corta RR RCS-19 is designed for motorcycles with dual front calipers that have caliper piston diameters of 32mm, or larger.

Fits 7/8" Handlebars, includes brake switch. (Brake switch is not used on '17 and later V4's) (*Cutting and soldering two wires to install the switch will be required on some applications.)

Brembo recommends this master cylinder for calipers with 32mm pistons or larger.

The following models can re-use their stock front brake lines: RS660, Tuono 660, RSVR, RSV4, '17 and later Tuono V4

*Please note: Tightening of the master cylinder clamp is somewhat counter-intuitive. We strongly recommend you have a look at this post before replacing your master cylinder clamp.

***Please note: Bleeding of ABS equipped brake systems can be more difficult due to increased system fluid capacity and switches/valving in the ABS module/pump. Follow the factory service manual instructions carefully during installation, or have this part professionally installed.
