Sprint filters refers to this as the P08 F1-85 media filter.

This is the most aggressive, 'barely there' air filter we've ever seen. Made with single layer polyester filtration media (almost all other manufacturers use 4 layer cotton), the super thin filtering layer was found by Sprint to be 17% more efficient at trapping particles down to 100 microns in size.

The polyester media was also found to be more effective in trapping moisture.

It offers the highest existing permeability and ensures engine protection by the 85 micron filtration media. Air flow performance is guaranteed by over 15,000 l/m2 per second.
